On one of the hottest days of the year (well over 100 degrees), I found myself melting at McMenamin's Edgefield. I also cried a little bit, as some of my best friends were getting married!
Despite the heat we managed to have an amazing day, surrounded by friends and loved ones. Surprisingly relaxing, with lots of time for getting ready and portraits. Wedding prep is rarely relaxing, and it was a treat!
The flower girl ran to her dad instead of down the aisle (to everyone's amusement), a friend performed a very personal and warm service, and as the evening wore on we could hear Band of Horses playing at the concert venue on-site. We drank cold Ruby beer from McMenamin's, danced the night away, and celebrated a wonderful couple. It was a gorgeous event. I'm so pleased to share their photos here!
